Logout and Account Deletion Guide
Logout
Logout clears account sign-in status, tokens, and in-memory account information. It does not automatically delete local receipt records, receipt images, categories, merchants, locations, handlers, or notes you created.
Use logout if you want to switch accounts, temporarily stop the signed-in state, or protect account access.
Delete Account
Account deletion requires confirmation. After confirmation, account state, account-related temporary data, current-account local receipt records, receipt images, and cache are cleared. This action cannot be undone.
If you need to permanently remove current-account data, sign in and use Delete Account from the Profile page.
How to use these options in the App
- Open ReceiptBox Ledger.
- Go to the Profile page.
- When signed out, tap Sign In. Logout and Delete Account appear only after sign-in.
- When you tap Logout, local receipt data remains on the device.
- When you tap Delete Account, read the irreversible action message before confirming.
Data kept after logout
- Local receipt records created by the user.
- Receipt, invoice, or reimbursement proof images.
- Merchant, amount, category, date, location, handler, and notes.
- Business data needed for local summaries.
Data cleared by account deletion
- Login status, tokens, member ID, phone number, or other login identifiers.
- Current-account local receipt records and receipt images.
- Account-related profile cache, temporary directories, and app cache.
- Current-account local storage state and business data.
Data already exported, shared, screenshotted, saved to system backups, or stored in third-party locations is not automatically removed by in-app account deletion.
