ReceiptBox Ledger is a personal utility app for receipt records and spending notes. It helps you organize receipts, proof images, reimbursement notes, and simple expense records. It is not a loan, credit, debt collection, investment, payment, banking, or regulated financial services platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how ReceiptBox Ledger ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you use the ReceiptBox Ledger mobile app and related pages (the "App"). We request sensitive permissions only when you choose the related feature, and we provide manual alternatives when permission is declined.

1. Information We Process

1.1 Account and sign-in information

If you sign in, sign out, or request account deletion, we may process the information needed to complete that account operation, such as your phone number or other login identifier, account ID, login token, login status, and security verification records. When you are not signed in, the Profile page does not show a real or fake default nickname, phone number, logout action, or account deletion action.

1.2 Receipt records you create

The App lets you create and manage personal receipt records, including:

Receipt data is used for personal record keeping and display. Receipt records are primarily stored on your device. Unless you choose an account or network feature that requires transmission, ReceiptBox Ledger does not upload your receipt content for loan approval, credit scoring, debt collection, investment recommendations, or payment processing.

1.3 Device, diagnostics, notification, and attribution information

The app foundation may process device and app information to support account security, push notifications, installation attribution, basic analytics, crash diagnostics, fraud prevention, and service improvement. This may include device identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted by platform rules and consent, app version, device model, operating system version, network status, push token, crash logs, performance data, and related technical metadata.

We do not request camera, photo library, location, or contacts access when the App launches, when the home page opens, or merely because you sign in. Sensitive permissions are requested only after you tap the related feature.

Location Fill in the spending location when you request it. When you tap the location action. Manually enter the spending location. The App does not use continuous background location tracking.
Contacts Select a payment recipient or handler for a receipt record. When you tap Contacts or a contact selection entry point. Manually enter a name or note. The App does not require importing your full address book.
Notifications Send reminders, account messages, or service messages where enabled. When a related notification feature is enabled or the platform requires permission. Disable notifications and continue using receipt record features.
Tracking / Advertising Identifier Installation attribution and basic analytics where permitted by platform rules. Only when device settings and required platform permission allow it. On iOS, tracking requires App Tracking Transparency permission where applicable. Decline tracking permission and continue using the App.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services or SDKs to operate and improve the App, such as push messaging, attribution, analytics, crash diagnostics, platform login, image picking, maps, or system services. These providers may process device identifiers, push tokens, diagnostics, attribution data, and app events according to their own policies.

We require service providers that process user data on our behalf to provide protection consistent with this Privacy Policy, applicable law, and platform rules.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so please protect your device, account, and login credentials.

8. Children

ReceiptBox Ledger is not directed to children and is not submitted as a Kids Category app. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will handle the request according to applicable law.
