Account Deletion
ReceiptBox Ledger is a personal receipt, proof, reimbursement note, and simple spending record utility. Account deletion affects account state and current-account local business data. Please back up important receipts before continuing.
How to delete your account in the App
- Open ReceiptBox Ledger and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to the Profile page.
- When signed in, choose Delete Account. This entry is not shown when you are signed out.
- Read the confirmation message and confirm if you want to continue.
Account deletion cannot be undone. After confirmation, login state, current-account local receipt records, receipt images, and cache are cleared.
What deletion removes
- Login status, tokens, account ID, phone number or other login identifiers, and account-related temporary data.
- Current-account local receipt records on the device, including receipt images, amount, category, date, merchant, location, handler, and notes.
- Current-account profile cache, temporary files, and app cache.
- Sample data flags and current-account local storage state.
What may remain outside the App
- Receipt files you exported, shared, screenshotted, or saved elsewhere.
- Device backups, cloud backups, or third-party copies that you manage outside the App.
- Server-side records that must be retained for a limited period for security, compliance, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or backup integrity.
Logout vs. account deletion
Logout clears account sign-in state only. Local receipt records and images remain on the device by default. Account deletion clears account state and current-account local business data. Use logout if you only want to switch accounts or stop the signed-in state temporarily. Use account deletion if you want to remove current-account data.
If you cannot access the App
If you cannot open the App or sign in, contact support by email. Use an email address related to your account, or include the login phone number or account identifier so we can verify account ownership.
